Submission and Proceedings
The proceedings of the International Symposium will be published and archived within the Journal «SPIIRAS Proceedings», indexed in Scopus (Q3, Computer Science, Mathematics). All papers will be peer-reviewed, and evaluated by members of the senior program committee. Paper submission is realized through the personal account on the website of the journal http://proceedings.spiiras.nw.ru/index.php/sp/about/submissions. At the registration, the authors are requested to fill out all data fields in the proposed form in order to facilitate and speed up the preparation of metadata for new papers. Special issue of the journal with RCAP Symposium papers will be made available to participants at the time of the Symposium. Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines:
- This article has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- The volume of the main text (before the section References) is 20 to 30 pages inclusive.
- Annotation to the article contains 200 - 300 words.
- Section References contains: 1) more than 20 references to scientific articles; 2) less than 20% of references to own works; 3) more than 50% of references to scientific articles of the last five years.
The submissions should be prepared using MS Word 2007 text editor or higher versions, at that, only manuscripts in *.docx format will be considered. If the article is prepared in LaTeX, then the file in pdf format is sent for review. After the article is accepted, an archive with all source files, including fonts and graphics, is uploaded.
The text of the paper in the main part of it should be from 20 - 30 pages of A5 size that is 210 X 148 mm; orientation - portrait; all margins - 20 mm. The font of the main paper text is Times New Roman of 10 pt font size. The pages’ headers and footers should be empty; indention - 10 mm; line spacing – single; pages are not numbered; hyphenations are allowed.
The article must conform to generally accepted standards; have an overview of existing approaches with references to scientific publications of the past five years; state the problem; describe the novelty and essence of the proposed approach / model / method / algorithm / software or hardware; present the results of experimental verification compared with modern analogs.
The paper must be divided into sections, of which obligatory ones are Introduction, at least one "informative" section and Conclusion. There can also be subsections if necessary.
The main part may include pictures, tables, listings and formulas (for more details see the paper template for MS Word (http://proceedings.spiiras.nw.ru/ojs/files/template_eng.dotx) or LaTeX (http://proceedings.spiiras.nw.ru/ojs/files/spiiras_latex_en.zip)).
The number and composition of authors after submitting an article for review does not change.
For an accepted paper to be included in the proceedings at least one of the authors of the paper should be available to present the paper at the symposium and register as Symposium Only participant or be a registered member of a RoboCup team.

The symposium fee is 150 USD paid after notification of paper approval. It includes visa support, one copy of the conference materials, refreshments/coffee breaks, and organizing costs. In order to lower the fee as much as possible, meals during the conference, the accommodation, and the conference trip are not included. Bank account details and payment instructions will be sent to participants after papers approval.
At least one of the authors has to register and pay the registration fee by October 15, 2019 for their paper to be included in the conference proceedings. Only one paper is included in the regular registration fee. An author with more than one paper pays the additional paper rates unless a co-author has also registered and paid the full registration fee. The payment may be refunded up until October 20, at the cost of 50 USD. No refund is possible after this date.
